The State Literacy Mission Authority (SLMA), Assam, invites applications from Indian Citizens for the posts mentioned below under the State Literacy Mission Authority (SLMA), Assam, on a purely contractual basis. The online applications will be received till 05.07.2025.

The posts are purely temporary in nature and the selected candidates will be initially engaged for a maximum period of 11 (eleven) months only. The contractual engagement will neither be regularized under SLMA, Assam nor will be absorbed under any job/ programme of Govt. of Assam in future and no person(s) so engaged shall have any right (s) to claim for permanent absorption in any post(s) in the Government or in the SLMA, Assam

Educational Qualification

Senior Consultant (Academic)1) Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with 55% Marks and B.Ed degree from recognized university.
2) At least 5years of experience in Educational Programme management in Govt. Institution, Govt. Schemes, Govt. recognized Society, Reputed Research Organization, Samagra Shiksha, RUSH.

3) Candidate must have proficiency in use of ICT in educational purposes.

Job Responsibilities:-
a) Support the Director and Member Secretary in Project Management activities related to NILP implementation in the State with regard to management, policy inputs, development of Annual Action Plan.
b) Will be responsible for the overall coordination, network, planning, execution and liason for implementation of ULLAS (NILP) scheme.
c) Will be responsible to carry out various Surveys in order to formulate the project proposal and conduct of assessment test.
d) Monitor and Field Visit for the progress against all key performance indictors as per operational guidelines.
e) Preparing of reports, briefs, presentations and analyze other survey reports and produce outcomes.
1) Identify and disseminate best practices to scale up the programme’s implementation and result achievement.
g) Support in monitoring and review of projects in terms of physical/ financial targets and against overall monitoring parameters.
h) Any other work assigned by the competent authority
Consultant (Accounts & E-procurement)1) B.Com/M.Com from a recognized University.
2) Minimum 5 years of working experience in Accounts office procedure related works of Govt. Dept./Govt. Scheme/Undertaking/Public Sector Organization.
3) Candidate must have proficiency in use of computers in e-procurement (GeM), PFMS, Budget, Audit, Cashbook maintenance etc.

OR

1) Graduate from recognized university.
2) 5 year working experience under central/state Govt. dept. on permanent basis with proficiency in financial management, office procedure, e-procurement, Audit and cashbook management etc.

Job Responsibilities:-
a) Overseeing financial planning, procurement through GeM, budgeting and financial decision making, Audit.
b) Managing accounts payable and receivable functions, including accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
c) Responsible to ensure accounts are maintained as per the norms.
d) Scrutinize the Sanctions and Fund Release Proposals (FRP’s) as and when required.
e) Periodic checking of bank balance through online banking, reconciliation of Bank accounts and liaison with district Accounts officials.
f) Managing PFMS related works.
g) Any other work assigned by the Competent Authority.
