>> According to the official notification of the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam, all the students who are willing to take admission to various institutions of Assam (State Universities/Government and Provincial Colleges) for higher studies, have to generate a Unique Student Admission ID. Students are able to submit their applications for DHE Online Unique ID through the official website of the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam. Furthermore, students can follow the easy steps listed below to complete their application process for a Unique Student Admission ID.

• Scroll down to the Important Link section.
• Click on Generate Online Unique ID link.
• In that portal, you will get a registration form to register yourself.
• Provide all the details. (personal information, Academic Details, Bank details)
• Submit the form.
• Download the Acknowledgement copy for future use.

Required Documents to Generate ID

Students must keep the below listed details ready before filling this online registration form released by DHE, Assam. All students note that it is mandatory to get admission to your desired institutes.

1. A valid and active Mobile Number.
2. Registration Certificate and Admit Card (Last Appeared Exam).
3. Bank Account Number with IFSC Code.

>>Students who have already generated their Unique ID in the last Academic Session need not generate the Unique ID again. The same ID shall also be used for the current Academic Session. For modification of registration data, they can log in and update their profile.

How to Modify Unique ID?

Students who have made mistakes while generating a Unique ID or whose educational qualification has changed, then they need to modify their Unique ID details. The steps to modify the details of Unique ID are given below, and students will be able to modify their details by following these steps.

Steps to modify Unique ID

• Scroll down to the Important Link section.
• Click on Modify Your Application link.
• Log in with your Unique ID and Date of Birth.
• Now, you will find Personal Information, Bank Account Details, and Qualifying Examination & Admission options.
• Click on the option which you want to update.
• Update your details, and Save.
• After saving, click on the Acknowledgment option to download the modified acknowledgment copy.
• Keep that acknowledgment copy for future use.

>> Students who already have a Unique ID and forgot the unique id (Unique id forgot), can retrieve their Unique ID with mobile no and date of Birth.

• Click on Unique ID forgot.
• You will move to DHS home page.
• Click on Forgot Unique ID.
• A pop-up form will appear.
• Fill out the form and Submit it.
