The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a massive recruitment notification on behalf of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). Under the KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025, a total of 14,967 vacancies have been announced across various teaching and non-teaching categories. Eligibility Criteria of KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025
1. Principal
Total Posts: 134 (KVS) + 93 (NVS)
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree with 50% marks
- B.Ed./Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed./Integrated degree with B.Ed. component
- Experience as Principal/Vice-Principal/PGT in required pay levels
- Knowledge of Hindi, English & computer applications
2. Vice Principal
Total Posts: 58 (KVS)
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree with 50% marks
- B.Ed. or equivalent NCTE-recognised qualification
- Experience as Vice Principal/PGT/Lecturer in Level 10 or Level 8
- Working knowledge of English, Hindi & computers
3. Assistant Commissioner
Total Posts: 8 (KVS) + 9 (NVS)
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree with 50% marks
- B.Ed./Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (as applicable)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Principal (Level 12)
- Computer knowledge & bilingual proficiency
4. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Total Posts: 1465 (KVS) + 1513 (NVS) + 18 (MIL – NVS)
Eligibility:
- Integrated PG course / Master’s degree in relevant subject with 50%
- B.Ed./Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed./Integrated bachelor’s degree with B.Ed. component
- Ability to teach in English & Hindi
For PGT (Computer Science)
- M.Sc., MCA, M.Tech or equivalent with 50%
- Appropriate B.Ed. qualification
For PGT (Physical Education)
- Master’s in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) with 50%
5. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Total Posts: 2794 (KVS) + 2978 (NVS) + 443 (NVS – 3rd language)
Eligibility:
- Integrated degree OR Bachelor’s degree with 50% + B.Ed.
- CTET Paper-II qualification
- Ability to teach bilingual medium
6. Librarian
Total Posts: 147 (KVS)
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s in Library Science / Library & Information Science with 50%
- Computer and language proficiency
7. Primary Teacher (PRT)

Eligibility:
