Selection Procedure for Coast Guard Navik GD
The selection process of the Coast Guard Navik GD involves several stages, the detailed information about these stages is given below:
- Stage-1) Written Exam: The Indian Coast Guard conducts a written exam to assess the candidates eligibility, general knowledge, general awareness and mental ability.
- Stage-2) Physical Fitness Test: Candidates who pass the written examination proceed to the Physical Fitness Test.
- Stage-3) Document Verification: Successful candidates undergo document verification.
- Stage-4) Medical Examination: After clearing the all above stages, the candidates undergo medical examination conducted Indian Coast Guard Department.
Indian Coast Guard Navik GD Exam Scheme
- There will be two sections conducted in offline mode.
- Section I consists of 60 multiple-choice questions with a total of 60 marks.
- Section II consists of 50 questions with 60 marks.
- There will be 45 minutes to complete Section I and 30 minutes for Section II.
- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Candidates who have applied online for the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment can obtain their admit cards from the official website once they are released. As per the official notification, admit cards will be available for download 48 hours prior to the exam. To download the exam admit card, candidates must log in to the official ICG portal.
