Vacancy Details of Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2025
1. AFCAT Entry
- Flying Branch – 38 posts
- Ground Duty (Technical) – 188 posts
- Ground Duty (Non-Technical) – 89 posts
2. NCC Special Entry
- Flying Branch: 10% of seats from CDSE vacancies for Permanent Commission and 10% from AFCAT vacancies for Short Service Commission.
Eligibility Criteria for Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2025
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2027)
- Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (Born between 02 Jan 2003 to 01 Jan 2007).
For CPL holders: up to 26 years. - Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years (Born between 02 Jan 2001 to 01 Jan 2007).
Marital Status
Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Marriage during training is strictly prohibited.
Educational Qualification of Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2025
Flying Branch
- 10+2 with 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics.
- Graduation with 60% marks in any discipline, or
- BE/B.Tech with 60% marks, or
- Section A & B of AMIE/ASI with 60% marks.
Ground Duty (Technical)
- Must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics & Maths and completed a 4-year engineering degree with 60% marks in relevant disciplines (Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, AI, Data Science, Robotics, etc.).
Ground Duty (Non-Technical)
- Administration & Logistics: Graduation with 60%.
- Accounts Branch: B.Com/Finance/BBA with 60%.
- Education: Postgraduate with 50% and Graduation with 60%.
- Meteorology: B.Sc or Engineering with 60% in Physics & Maths.
