Selected candidates for the Officer Grade A post will receive a pay scale of:
Rs. 62,500 – Rs. 1,26,100

Educational Qualification of PFRDA Recruitment 2026
The required qualification varies according to the discipline applied for.

Age Limit
Candidates must be 30 years of age or below as on 31 July 2026.
Therefore, the candidate should have been born on or after 1 August 1996.
Age Relaxation
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be available to eligible reserved-category candidates as per PFRDA rules.

Selection Process of PFRDA Recruitment 2026
The PFRDA Officer Grade A selection process will be completed through three stages:
- Phase I – Online Screening Examination
- Phase II – Online Examination
- Interview
Phase I Examination
Phase I will have two papers.
Paper 1 will be common to all streams and will cover:
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning
- General Awareness
It will contain 90 questions carrying 100 marks, with a time limit of 60 minutes.
Paper 2 will be based on the candidate’s respective stream and will consist of 50 questions for 100 marks, to be completed in 40 minutes.
A 1/4 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Marks obtained in Phase I will be used for shortlisting candidates for Phase II and will not be counted towards final selection.
Phase II Examination
Phase II will also contain two papers.
Paper 1: Descriptive English paper of 100 marks, consisting of 3 questions with a duration of 60 minutes.
Paper 2: Objective stream-specific paper carrying 100 marks, consisting of 50 questions to be completed in 40 minutes.
Paper 1 will carry 1/3rd weightage, while Paper 2 will carry 2/3rd weightage in Phase II.
Negative marking of 1/4 mark will apply to incorrect answers in Paper 2.
Candidates will subsequently be shortlisted for the interview based on their Phase II performance.
Interview
Candidates shortlisted after Phase II will be invited for the interview stage. The interview can be conducted in Hindi or English, according to the candidate’s choice.
The final merit will be prepared using the prescribed weightage of Phase II and Interview.
