Eligibility Criteria for Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have any one of the following degrees from a government-recognized university or institution:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in one of the following branches:
Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / IT / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering.
OR
Master’s Degree in Science (M.Sc.) in Electronics / Computer Science / Physics with Electronics / Electronics & Communication
OR
Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA).
GATE Requirement
Applicants must have qualified in GATE 2023, 2024, or 2025 in one of these papers:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC)
- Computer Science & Information Technology (CS)
Nationality
Applicant must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit (as on 16.11.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Departmental candidates: up to 40 years
- Widows/divorced/separated women: up to 35 years (UR), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST)
